Welcome to Korus!

Welcome to

22nd KORUS Festival

With heartfelt excitement, we welcome you to the 22nd KORUS Festival — a joyful celebration of culture, heritage, and community. This year, as we gather in the spirit of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month, we also take a moment to honor Memorial Day, remembering the sacrifices that uphold our freedom.

For over two decades, the Korean American Association of the Washington Metropolitan Area has proudly hosted this beloved festival, creating a vibrant space for connection and cultural exchange. The name “KORUS” reflects the enduring friendship between Korea and the United States — a relationship that continues to grow stronger through shared values and traditions.

From May 17 to May 18, join us for an unforgettable weekend filled with dynamic performances, diverse cultural showcases, and the lively spirit of unity. This year’s festival features special guests, including renowned artists from Korea, and highlights the rich diversity that defines the American experience.

Your presence brings this celebration to life. As we honor heritage and history together, may the 22nd KORUS Festival be a powerful reminder of the strength found in community and the beauty of shared stories. We look forward to seeing you there!
