Welcome to Korus!

Welcome to

21st KORUS Festival

With immense joy, we welcome you to the 21st KORUS Festival – a celebration of culture, unity, and peace. As we gather during the Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, themed ‘Peace,’ our festival becomes a canvas of vibrant diversity, reflecting the rich tapestry of our community.

Over the past two decades, the Korean American Association of the Washington Metropolitan Area has orchestrated this annual extravaganza, fostering a spirit of togetherness that transcends borders. ‘KORUS,’ embodying the enduring bonds between the Republic of Korea and the United States, has become a symbol of unity.

Join us from May 3rd to May 5th as we revel in the cultural mosaic, showcasing exceptional talents and mesmerizing performances. This year’s festival not only honors our heritage but also amplifies the significance of peace in our collective narrative.

Your presence adds a unique chapter to this celebration, embodying the essence of unity in diversity. As we come together to commemorate the AAPI Heritage Month, let us share the spirit of peace that resonates throughout the 21st KORUS Festival. See you at the KORUS!

Warm regards,
Steve Lee, President of Korean American Association of Greater Washington Metropolitan Area
